A Colorful Home Transformation

You love your home and neighborhood, but it no longer meets your needs. So, should you move or stay? This family decided to stay. We partnered with MDS Remodeling to transform their home into a brand-new space. The mother, an artist and dance instructor who also hosts women's retreats and creative classes, needed a home that would inspire creativity and self-expression, and with every choice we made, we did just that.

Before & After: A Balanced Design

In the family room, a stunning fireplace centers the room. Given the double-height ceiling, it was crucial to infuse some drama into the fireplace design and to place the TV low. For a balanced look, we maintained dark, rich colors toward the lower part while light wood paneling was extended upward.

Colors & Hand-Crafted Glass Pendants

In this Whimsical White Kitchen, a timeless design is elevated with colorful details and interesting textures. The white cabinets and countertops are complemented by a vibrant coral island and the metal elements, such as hardware or light pendants, complement the warm undertones of coral.

Cheerful & Bright

No home fit for an artist is complete without an art room! We adore it for its vibrant colors and abundant natural light, making it perfect for creative work. We designed custom cabinetry to store art supplies and positioned several work tables.

Before & After: Staircase Redesign

The staircase also received a fresh and updated look, featuring a combination of wood and white elements, along with the added warmth provided by a runner. Instead of using wood floors throughout the main part of the house, we opted for tile that resembles wood. It will be much easier to maintain, especially with their large pup running around!

On one side of the front door, you'll find a practical yet elegant velvet blue bench with peg hooks. On the opposite end, there's a white cabinet featuring an intricate handle design.
